Voted Best Live Band in 2004, well that statement still rings true today, just ask anyone who was in attendance last Sunday night at The Don Haskins Center here in El Paso for Lamb of God’s Omen Tour 2022.
Randy and Company hit the stage at 9:30 sharp, it was if I was in the midst of an unstoppable rebel force, hell bend on destroying everything in its path, oh yeah, we’re in store for one hell of a show.
Songs such as Walk with Me in Hell, Ghost Walking and Redneck had this rabid crowd worked up tighter that Dick’s Hatband, not to mention a circle pit half the size of the floor, and the Don has a big floor, it reminded me of the eye of a Cat 5 hurricane, beautiful, yet deadly.
Needless to say, Randy had the audience eating from the palm of his hand, as he always does, you see, I’ve covered Lamb of God before and this Blue-Ribbon Heavy Metal act never fails to deliver. In my opinion Randy Blythe is one the best front men in the business, he’s full of raw energy. prowling the stage like a cat, a sheer pleasure to photograph. This act is a must see, buy the ticket, take the ride, I promise you, you won’t be sorry.
