Black Label Society Brings their Grimmest Hits tour To The Bomb Factory in Dallas
Deep Ellum in Dallas, Texas was the place to be Saturday night as thousands of metal heads almost filled to capacity the Bomb Factory as they gathered for a phenomenal show. Black Label Society brought the Grimmest Hits Tour to the lone star state. A night of guitar shredding by no other than iconic guitar legend Zakk Wylde. As the band took the stage by storm, the Bomb Factory came unglued.
Zakk Wylde took the center stage and the thousands of “BLS family members” roared. First riff hit and it was a head banging, metal rock fist scene. Hits from The Blessed Hellride to Gimmest Hits, every Black Label Society hit was performed, top to bottom, no shortcuts. Hit after hit, riff after riff, the dallas crowd felt every single one of their beat. From the snare clash that drummer Jeff Fabb produced, to the riffs that guitarist Dario Lorina exchanged with Zakk, and to every single deep tone that John DeServio constructed with his bass, the heavy metal lovers savored every ounce of it.
Many people worried that BLS wasn’t going to be able to perform that night because Zakk got ill during the week end decided to postpone the Oklahoma show, so it was still a coin toss wether the show was going to go on. Fortunately the heavy metal gods decided that Black Label Society was going to take over the Bomb Factory. Their time in Dallas concluded with their hit Stillborn, where unfortunately Ozzy Osbourne wasn’t there to perform his contribution to the song. Regardless this show made a cold January night feel hotter than the Texas summer.
