OneRepublic’s Native Summer Tour 2014

– By Dustin Blocker –

OneRepublic is literally inescapable; from their litany of popular television appearances on Dancing with the Stars, The Voice, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, et al., to last week’s placement in Bud Light’s “Up For Whatever” Superbowl ad, this American pop-rock band is thwarting the odds by staying atop the music charts seemingly on the sole strength of their agent’s television saavy. This summer the five-piece act aims to disprove this assumption by hitting the road to prove their mettle. With 45 dates across essentially two month’s time, their fortitude will definitely be tested, perhaps giving OneRepublic the opportunity to earn the type of live credibility television is unable to garner.
