Black Stone Cherry has made its name as a no-nonsense rock band, and they are still waving that flag on their new album, Magic Mountain. Southern rock mixed with stoner metal and a soulful vocal approach is the formula for this outfit from Edmonton Kentucky.
“Holding On..To Letting Go” and “Never Surrender” are just a couple of examples of the band’s signature roaring guitars and heavy songwriting style. Black Stone Cherry have successfully stuck to their story while maintaining a level of mainstream appeal, changing just enough with the times to stay interesting.
