The only reason I knew, somewhat to expect was I had seen the video to where Mac Sabbath did perform for Ozzy, thanks to Jack who made it a surprise to his father and believe me, I too, was surprised. Mac Sabbath is a tribute/parody band to Black Sabbath that performs as McDonalds characters, I cannot make that up. Formed in LA in 2014, the band consist of Ronald Osborne doing vocals, Slayer MacCheeze on guitar, CatBurglar on percussion and Grimalice on Bass guitar. Now they change the lyrics in classic Black Sabbath tunes, all with a fast-food spin, such as Iron Man is now Frying Pan, Paranoid is Pair-A-Buns, Sweet Leaf is Sweet Beef and the list goes on, I’m sure you get the gist of it, but what I found super interesting is they warn you of the dangers of fast food, as health effects and nutritional value in their lyrics. I personally don’t eat fast food, so I really like the fact that the band doesn’t support the industry, but plays off of it with these particular characters, I mean everybody know who Ronald is, right? An evening of Headbanging and Hamburgers, who could ask for anything more, if they come close to your town, I highly recommend you take in the show, you won’t forget it, especially when you drive by the Golden Arches the next day, I promise, they won’t look the same to you.
