Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville producer Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents explains, “People thought I was crazy when I launched a festival in Jacksonville. This is my home town, so I ignored everyone, and we came out of the gate with a sold out event. To go from 10,000 tickets that first year to over 50,000 in 2015, and making this Florida’s biggest rock experience, I couldn’t be more proud to be a native of North Florida and to showcase my home town nationally. Welcome To Rockville has become one of rock’s most recognizable festivals, and it’s only going to get better.”

Gourmet Man Food: Gourmet Man Food (“GMF”) has been part of American culture since pioneers started experimenting with their cowboy menus to “kick things up a notch.” Since then, it’s become a phenomenon of artistically created, statement-making food, served in large portions with a powerful presentation. It is a unique twist to foods you know mixed with flavors you don’t expect. The 2016 Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville Gourmet Man Food lineup includes: Bayou Bill’s Cajun, Brucci’s Pizza, Burrito Gallery, Captain Nemo’s, Catullo Brothers Pizza, Char’s Smokehouse BBQ, Cheese Louise, Chicago Taste Authority, Classic Home Cookin’, Girls Gone Green Nacho Bar, Grinders Burger Barn, Hebros Kitchen, Highway 61, Iron Barley, Island Noodles, Knuckle Sandwiches, Mac Attack, Mama’s Food, Mangroves, Mount Olympus Greek Fare, Mystery Melt Machine, Oli’s Tots, Pie Baby, Pounders, Up In Smoke BBQ, and What’s The Catch, with more to be announced. In addition, two St. Louis based restaurants — Food Network star Tom Coghill’s Iron Barley and Bill Kunz’ Highway 61 Roadhouse — will be staging a full scale Pig Roast.
Jack Daniel’s Experience: Jack Daniel’s will bring a “Taste of Tennessee” to Jacksonville as an official sponsor of Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville. The Jack Daniel’s Experience, a mobile museum, is bringing a little of the much-loved distillery from Lynchburg. The Experience is open to all folks, 21 years old and up, for tours free of charge throughout the festival. Stop by the Jack Daniel’s Experience for personalized Barrelhead Engraving, Jack Daniel’s merchandise for sale, and free Mobile Distillery tours. www.jackdaniels.com

The Music Experience will also feature The Student Experience (TSE) for kids enrolled in music programs in the surrounding areas. TSE features a backstage tour for kids to see the inner workings of a festival and all the jobs the music industry has to offer. TSE also offers intimate time with all the instrument manufacturers before the festival opens.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville will include onsite activities facilitated by the Jacksonville Jaguars, who will also partner to host the Ultimate Rock-N-Jock Experience contest.
