Fort Worth’s Magnolia Motor Lounge played host to an all North Texas bill last weekend; folk-rockers, Brandon Callies Band, roots act, Exit 380 and psychedelic rock outfit, Un Chien. All of the artists are backed by independent label, Hand Drawn Records, and between the celebratory stage banter to the amount of bro-hugs witnessed; the evening had a good-natured feel throughout, proving the label’s stance on working to create a real “musical community” in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is not without merit.
